About Robin
Robin R. Birdsall currently lives on the Isle of Man. Having spent all but 5 years of her life in Knoxville Tennessee, she moved to the island in November 2015. Robin’s business background is automotive marketing, sales and management, working in her family-owned automobile dealership for over 30 years.
Robin has served on various bank advisory and governing boards as well as the board of her local community hospital. Robin is married to Ian P. Birdsall and they split their time between the Isle of Man and Tennesse.

Were you always drawn to the kind of work you’re doing now?
I would say I have always been drawn to creating opportunities. Not all have been successful in the beginning; and some never. But from each I have taken away something inspiring, something that encourages belief in the benefit of stubborn determination. It’s a trait you will see always leads to success.
Is there a particular philosophy that guides your work?
Consider carefully what you are trying to achieve and then put in maximum effort. No one can ask for more. I try to instil this in others, be it in personal or business life, success comes with effort. Sometimes even this is not enough, so know when to change tack and look for alternatives. Then don’t look back.
